Betsy Ross House archaeological investigations

Archaeological investigations at the Betsy Ross House site have recovered 18th-century foundations, privy deposits, and household artifacts such as ceramics, glass fragments, and nails that document colonial domestic activity on the lot. Findings from these excavations informed restoration decisions and interpretive displays at the site managed as a historic house museum.
