Archaeological monitoring during Denver Union Station redevelopment

Archaeological monitoring and testing were conducted during the early 2010s renovation and redevelopment of Denver Union Station, documenting 19th- and early 20th-century structural remains and artifact deposits related to historic commercial and railroad uses. The investigations informed preservation decisions for the National Register-listed station and contributed to interpretive and construction planning. Project reports and artifact catalogs from the monitoring were prepared for the redevelopment and for local historic-resource archives.
