Tandang Sora Women's Museum

The Tandang Sora Women's Museum, located in Quezon City, Philippines, is the first dedicated women's museum in the country, celebrating the contributions of women throughout Philippine history. Established through the efforts of feminist Sandra Torrijos and inaugurated on February 19, 2025, the museum is housed in a beautifully designed two-story structure inspired by traditional bahay na bato architecture. It features exhibits on notable figures such as Melchora Aquino, a key figure in the Philippine Revolution, as well as other influential women, including babaylan and suffragettes. The museum's proximity to the Tandang Sora National Shrine enhances its significance as a cultural and historical site for both tourists and researchers.
