Sites Homestead

The Sites Homestead, also known as the Wayside Inn, is a historic log house located near Seneca Rocks, West Virginia, built around 1839. This charming structure, which features a mid-1870s frame addition, was once a family residence and has a rich history tied to the local area. Acquired by the U.S. Forest Service in 1968, it underwent restoration in the 1980s and now serves as part of the Seneca Rocks Discovery Center, providing visitors with insights into the region's heritage and natural beauty.
