Adelaide Steamship House

The Adelaide Steamship House, built in 1900 and located at 10–12 Mouat Street in Fremantle, Western Australia, is a historic building designed in the Federation Free Classical style by local architects Charles Oldham and Herbert Eales. Originally serving as the offices for the Adelaide Steamship Company, which played a crucial role in maritime transport across Australia, the building features distinctive architectural elements such as a balustrade parapet and stuccoed ionic pilasters. After surviving two significant fires in the 1940s, it underwent extensive restorations and has since been repurposed into a residence, office, store, and warehouse.
