Tovrea Castle ("Wedding Cake" Castle)

Tovrea Castle is a layered, white concrete structure often called the 'Wedding Cake' that sits near Van Buren Street on the eastern edge of Phoenix. Built in the late 1920s–1930s and later surrounded by a large cactus garden, the property was restored and is now offered for guided tours and occasional public events. Its ornate, isolated appearance makes it a hidden-feeling landmark visible from nearby highways but reached only by designated paths and tour access.
