Memorial Union Building (MTU)

The Memorial Union Building (MUB) at Michigan Tech, completed in 1952, serves as a central hub for student life, featuring a lounge, cafeteria, bookstore, and various meeting spaces. Originally built to address the social needs of a growing student body, it underwent renovations in 1987 to accommodate increased enrollment. Funded by alumni and community support, the MUB honors those who served in the armed forces and aims to foster unity among students through its diverse activities and facilities.
