Make Way for Ducklings sculptures

The bronze sculptures by Nancy Schön (installed 1987) in the Boston Public Garden depict the mother duck and ducklings from Robert McCloskey's 1941 children's book Make Way for Ducklings. The statues are a popular on-site photo subject for visitors and are frequently posted on social media and family-oriented online platforms. The sculptures sit near the lagoon on the corner of the Public Garden accessible from Charles Street.
