The Dream Garden mosaic in the Curtis Center

The Dream Garden is a large glass-mosaic installed in 1916 by Tiffany Studios based on a painting by Maxfield Parrish and is located in the Curtis Center. The mosaic occupies a prominent lobby wall and is one of the best-known Tiffany glass mosaics in the United States. Photographs of the mosaic's rich colors and detailed glass work are frequently circulated in art and travel coverage of Philadelphia. The Curtis Center is a historic office building that houses the mosaic on Walnut Street near Independence Mall.
