Michael and Magdealena Bixler Farmstead

The Michael and Magdealena Bixler Farmstead, also known as John Rudy County Park, is a historic site in East Manchester Township, Pennsylvania, recognized for its architectural significance and rich history. Featuring seven buildings constructed between 1799 and 1910, including a Georgian-style house, a Sweitzer barn, and various agricultural structures, the farmstead offers a glimpse into early American rural life. The property also includes a hand-dug well and the foundations of an earlier house from 1737. Donated to York County in 1973, it serves as a county park and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers alike.
