Elfreth's Alley (124 Elfreth's Alley)

Elfreth's Alley is a preserved row of historic houses in Old City with buildings dating principally to the early 18th century and a continuous residential presence since that period. The alley is often described as the oldest continuously inhabited residential street in the United States and is designated a National Historic Landmark District. The Elfreth's Alley Museum operates at 124 Elfreth's Alley and interprets colonial and early American urban domestic life and infrastructure.
