Founded by Jōkichi Takamine in 1905, the club moved to this Renaissance Revival structure, noted for its unique architectural style blending Chicago school elements with Florentine influences. After being seized by the government during World War II, the building was sold in 1944 and now features a church on the lower level and condominiums above, making it a notable site for both history enthusiasts and tourists.
