Mount Fair

Mount Fair is a historic home and farm complex in Albemarle County, Virginia, built around 1848. This Greek Revival style house features a hipped roof with a widow's walk and a porch supported by Doric columns. The property includes a detached kitchen, greenhouse, icehouse, and spring house, as well as significant historical sites such as the ruins of slave quarters, a slave cemetery, and a family cemetery. It was recognized for its historical importance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
