Minerva House

Minerva House, located on the south bank of the River Thames near London Bridge, is a striking yellow brick building that was constructed between 1979 and 1983 as the London office for Grindlays Bank. Designed by Twigg, Brown & Partners, it features a unique architectural style with narrow windows set between closely paired piers. The site has a rich history, previously housing the Close of Southwark Cathedral and various wharfs since the 14th century. After being sold multiple times, it underwent refurbishment in 2006 and now serves a mixed purpose, offering both office space and residential flats. Current tenants include notable organizations such as Winckworth Sherwood LLP and TUI, making it a vibrant part of London's architectural landscape.
