Powell-Redmond House

The Powell-Redmond House, located in Clifton, Mason County, West Virginia, is a historic Italianate-style residence built in 1866. This 2+1⁄2-story red brick home features impressive architectural elements, including floor-length double-hung windows with heavy stone lintels and a beautifully preserved ballroom adorned with ornamental plasterwork. Constructed by Civil War general William Henry Powell, who founded the Clifton Iron & Nail Company, the house reflects the rich history of the region.
