Lenoir Dow House

The Lenoir Dow House, located at 215 Adams Street in Waltham, Massachusetts, is a beautifully preserved example of Queen Anne Victorian architecture, built in 1888 during a significant building boom. Originally constructed to accommodate workers from the nearby Waltham Watch Company, this 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame house features an asymmetrical facade, a hip roof with iron cresting, and an ornate porch. The first owner, Lenoir Dow, was a machinist. The house was recognized for its historical significance and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers interested in local history and architecture.
