Historic Blenheim

Historic Blenheim is a mid-19th century brick farmhouse in Fairfax, Virginia, notable for its Greek Revival architecture and its role during the American Civil War. The house served as a refuge for Union soldiers, who left over 115 inscriptions on its walls, providing a unique glimpse into the lives of those who passed through. Originally built in 1859, the estate was owned by Captain Rezin Samuel Willcoxon, a War of 1812 veteran, and has a rich history tied to the Civil War's military significance in the region. Blenheim was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2001, making it a fascinating site for tourists and researchers interested in American history.
