30th Street Station

Opened in 1933 as Philadelphia's primary intercity rail station, 30th Street Station is an Art Deco passenger terminal serving Amtrak, SEPTA Regional Rail, and NJ Transit connections. Its steel-and-concrete construction replaced earlier stations along the Schuylkill River and consolidated long-distance and commuter services at a single hub. The station's main concourse and train shed are significant examples of early 20th-century rail infrastructure and it remains one of the nation's busiest rail hubs.
