Brooklyn Borough Hall (formerly Brooklyn City Hall)

Originally constructed in the mid-19th century as Brooklyn City Hall, the building at Borough Hall served as the seat of Brooklyn municipal government before New York City consolidation in 1898. The Greek Revival structure has been altered and expanded over time and later became known as Brooklyn Borough Hall, housing borough government offices. The building is a designated New York City landmark and remains a prominent civic structure in Downtown Brooklyn.
