Rust en Vreugd

Rust en Vreugd, meaning Rest and Joy, is a historic house and garden in Cape Town, South Africa, dating back to 1778. As one of the few remaining 18th-century buildings in the city, it showcases the William Fehr Collection of pictorial Africana and is part of the Iziko Museums. Originally built for Willem Cornelis Boers of the Dutch East India Company, the house features a distinctive rococo fanlight and a classic two-story design typical of the era.
