Texas School Book Depository / The Sixth Floor Museum (Dealey Plaza)

The Texas School Book Depository (now home to The Sixth Floor Museum) is the building from which Lee Harvey Oswald is documented to have fired the shots that killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. The assassination and the later deaths of several people connected to the case have prompted some conspiracy theorists and locals to describe the site as 'cursed'; this characterization is debated and not part of official historical accounts.
