Barton Springs Pool - spring-fed city pool

Barton Springs Pool is a natural spring-fed pool located within Zilker Park and managed by the City of Austin. The pool is fed from underground springs and maintains an average water temperature around 68–70 °F year-round, making it a noted recreational and ecological feature inside city limits. It has been operated as a public swimming facility for decades and is listed as part of the Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer conservation area.
