Gondola Rides at The Venetian

The Venetian Resort operates indoor and outdoor gondola rides along recreated Venetian-style canals in the Grand Canal Shoppes; the resort opened in 1999 with these signature attractions. Trained gondoliers pilot the boats and often sing traditional Italian songs, and the rides have been frequently featured in travel videos and social posts. The indoor gondolas pass through the mall under painted skies while outdoor gondolas travel along exterior canalways on the Strip-facing side. The gondola experience is a long-standing, widely photographed element of The Venetian complex.
