Trinity Church (Copley Square)

Trinity Church, completed in 1877 and designed by H. H. Richardson, is a defining example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture and anchors Copley Square in Boston's Back Bay. The building is noted for its polychrome stonework and extensive interior murals and decorative programs by notable artists of the period. It remains an active Episcopal parish and a frequent reason for architectural tours of the neighborhood.
