*SCAPE building

The *SCAPE building, located at 2 Orchard Link in Singapore, is a vibrant community youth space that spans over 13,000 square meters. Opened in 2010, it was designed by RSP Architects and features a unique hexagonal façade and open circulation spaces. The building serves as a hub for youth engagement, offering various facilities including performance areas, a media hub, and spaces for creative expression and entrepreneurship. It is part of the Somerset Belt, aimed at fostering youth participation and identity. The site has undergone several renovations to enhance its offerings, with a major redevelopment announced in 2022, set to be completed by the end of 2025. The *SCAPE building not only provides a physical platform for youth to showcase their talents but also embodies a mental space filled with creativity and possibilities.
