Portland Union Station - 19th-century railroad terminal still in use

Opened in 1896, Portland Union Station is the city's historic passenger rail terminal and remains the primary Amtrak station for Portland. The Romanesque-style station building and its clock tower are prominent architectural features from the late 19th century. The station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and continues to serve intercity rail passengers.
