Carnegie Hall

Carnegie Hall opened on May 5, 1891, financed by Andrew Carnegie and designed by architect William Burnet Tuthill. It is renowned for its acoustics and contains three main performance spaces: Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage, Zankel Hall, and Weill Recital Hall. The venue has hosted numerous historic premieres and performances across genres and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated a National Historic Landmark.
