Cima Park Fire Guard Station

The Cima Park Fire Guard Station, established in 1934 by the Civilian Conservation Corps, is a historic site located in Cochise County, Arizona. Recognized for its vernacular log architecture, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. This unique site includes four contributing structures-a cabin, toolshed, outhouse, and barn-set on a picturesque 2-acre area in the Chiricahua Mountains. Originally serving as a headquarters for fire crews, the station played a crucial role in wildfire management, with a telephone operator doubling as the cook.
