Kate Sessions Park (Kate Sessions)

Kate Sessions (1857–1940) was a horticulturist who introduced and popularized many ornamental plants and trees in San Diego and is often credited for shaping the city's urban landscape. Kate Sessions Park on Mount Soledad is named in her honor and provides panoramic views of the city and bay.
