Bryan House and Office

The Bryan House and Office, located in New Bern, North Carolina, is a historic site built between 1804 and 1806 on the grounds of the original Tryon Palace. This Federal style brick dwelling features a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay, side-hall plan and underwent modernization with the addition of a rear wing in 1840. The site also includes a one-story frame office building. Notably, it served as the residence of Congressman John Heritage Bryan and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, making it a significant attraction for history enthusiasts and tourists alike.
