Arif Sarıca Mansion

The Arif Sarıca Mansion, built in 1903, is an exquisite example of Ottoman architecture located in the Moda quarter of Kadıköy, Istanbul. Originally designed as an apartment building for the Sarıca family, the mansion features a grand entrance with marble columns, beautifully decorated interiors with frescoes, and a large garden enclosed by a stone wall. The mansion has a rich history, having served as a primary school during the Allied occupation of Istanbul after World War I. Today, it remains in the hands of the Sarıca family, with concert pianist Ayşegül Sarıca residing there. This historical site offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Ottoman elite and the architectural beauty of the era.
