Tobin Center for the Performing Arts

The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts opened in 2014 after redevelopment of the site formerly occupied by the Municipal Auditorium; it is a major downtown performing arts facility adjacent to the River Walk. The center includes multiple theaters and public event spaces and presents touring performances as well as local arts programming. Its riverfront plaza and contemporary design are prominent features in the Hemisfair/downtown area.
