Catlin Hall

Catlin Hall, also known as George Catlin Hall and Reynolds House, is a historic dormitory on the Wilkes University campus in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Built in 1843, this 2 1/2-story brick building showcases Greek Revival architecture and features a two-story rear wing. Originally the residence of the Reynolds family until the 1950s, it was sold to Wilkes College in 1957 and transformed into a women's residence hall, named after the local painter George Catlin. Catlin Hall was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, making it a notable site for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
