Trinity Church and Churchyard

The current Trinity Church building at 89 Broadway was consecrated in 1846 and designed in the Gothic Revival style by architect Richard Upjohn. The churchyard contains the grave of Alexander Hamilton and other notable early American figures, giving the site significant historical and cultural importance. Trinity Church has an active parish whose origins in New York City date back to the colonial period.
