Spreckels Organ Pavilion

Built for the Panama-California Exposition (completed in 1915), the Spreckels Organ Pavilion houses one of the largest outdoor pipe organs in the world and was a major feature of Balboa Park’s original exposition plan. The pavilion has hosted free public organ concerts since the early 20th century and continues to be a venue for civic and musical events. The organ and pavilion are historically associated with the civic development of Balboa Park.
