Terraced skyline frames at Romare Bearden Park

Romare Bearden Park's terraced lawns, amphitheater seating and upper promenades provide framed views of Charlotte's uptown skyline that are frequently used by photographers and downtown workers on breaks. The park opened in 2013 and is named for artist Romare Bearden. From the park's higher terraces visitors can sightline to landmarks such as the Bank of America Corporate Center and Truist Center. The park's design intentionally creates layered, semi-enclosed viewpoints beneath tree canopies and along its stepped platforms.
