Villa Mondello

Villa Mondello is a historic villa in Marsaskala, Malta, built in 1935 and showcasing a unique Art Nouveau architectural style influenced by Mediterranean design. Overlooking St Anne’s Gardens, it has a rich history, having served as a school before World War II and being associated with local community life. Despite its significance, the villa is currently in a state of dereliction and remains privately owned, with no major restoration efforts undertaken, despite discussions in the 2010s about its potential revival.
