Woods Mill Farm is a historic site located in Woodsboro, Maryland, featuring the Colonel Joseph Wood House, an exceptional example of 18th-century Georgian architecture built around 1770. This two-story brick manor showcases a hipped roof and distinctive end chimneys. The property also includes notable outbuildings such as a two-story smokehouse and a brick barn from the 1830s. Originally owned by Col. Joseph Wood, the founder of Woodsberry, the farm was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2007, making it a significant destination for tourists and researchers interested in early American history and architecture.
