Stenton (James Logan House)

Stenton is an 18th-century country house built for colonial statesman James Logan around the 1720s–1730s and exemplifies early Pennsylvania colonial architecture. The preserved house museum contains original woodwork, period furnishings, and archaeological resources that interpret Logan family life and colonial Germantown. Stenton is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is open for guided tours and public programs.
