Bullington Warehouse

Bullington Warehouse is a historic tobacco storage facility located in Durham, North Carolina, built in 1927. This three-story Romanesque-style brick structure features unique architectural elements, including projecting corbeled firewalls, and spans approximately 123,000 square feet. It represents the last of a series of brick tobacco warehouses constructed from 1897 to 1927, showcasing the 'slow burn' masonry and wood factory construction style. Now converted to residential use, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in industrial history and architecture.
