Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth - Tadao Ando design

The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth’s building was designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando and opened in 2002; the design features smooth concrete walls, long reflecting pools, and rectilinear galleries. The museum is one of the relatively few major museum buildings in the United States by Ando and is recognized for its minimalist geometry and integration of water and light. It houses an international collection of post–World War II art and regularly hosts traveling exhibitions.
