Rumsey Farm

Rumsey Farm was a historic home near Middletown, Delaware, built in 1854 and showcasing Peach Mansion architecture with Greek Revival and Italianate details. Notable for its Doric columns and distinctive design, it was constructed by John P. Cochran, a former governor of Delaware. The house was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978, but unfortunately, it was demolished between 2011 and 2013. Its architectural style and connection to local history make it a point of interest for tourists and researchers alike.
