Bałtyk

Bałtyk is a striking high-rise office building in the Jeżyce area of Poznań, Poland, designed by the renowned MVRDV architectural studio. Standing at 67 meters tall, it is the sixth tallest building in the city and features a unique design with setbacks and protruding window frames that create a dynamic appearance from various angles. The building's name pays homage to the former Kino Bałtyk cinema, which operated from 1929 until its demolition in 2003. Construction began in November 2014 and was completed in May 2017, officially opening on June 2, 2017. Bałtyk not only adds to the skyline of Poznań but also reflects modern architectural influences from notable buildings in Paris and Oslo.
