Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens - the National Park Service site devoted to aquatic plants

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens in northeast Washington preserves cultivated waterlily and lotus ponds alongside natural wetlands and is the only unit of the National Park Service primarily devoted to aquatic plants. The gardens grew from private nursery ponds into a park preserved for its horticultural collections and wetland habitats and are managed for public visitation, plant conservation, and wildlife habitat. The site is noted for its summer displays of lotus and waterlilies and for interpreting urban wetland ecology within the District of Columbia.
