Grand Army of the Republic Hall (Rockland, Massachusetts)

The Grand Army of the Republic Hall, located at 34 School Street in Rockland, Massachusetts, is a historic building constructed in 1899 as a memorial to Union Army veterans of the Civil War. Designed by local builder William Harrison Hebberd, this two-story wood-frame structure features a hip roof and a distinctive porch supported by narrow columns. The interior retains much of its original Queen Anne details, making it a fascinating site for visitors interested in history and architecture. The hall has served as a meeting place for various veterans' organizations and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 16, 1997.
