Gas Works Park (westward vistas)

Gas Works Park is a public park on the north shore of Lake Union incorporating the preserved structures of a former gasification plant. The park's hill and open lawn provide wide westward sightlines over the city and water; on very clear days the Olympic Mountains can be seen beyond Elliott Bay. The site is a popular location for kite-flying, picnics, and city skyline photography.
