Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum

Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located on the Arizona State Fairgrounds, opened in 1965 and served as the original home arena for the NBA's Phoenix Suns from 1968 to 1992. Nicknamed the 'Madhouse on McDowell,' the coliseum is noted for its distinctive honeycomb roof and mid-century modern design.
