The Horton Grand Hotel in the Gaslamp Quarter occupies restored Victorian-era buildings that date to the 1880s and were preserved during downtown redevelopment in the 1980s. Guests and staff have reported sightings of apparitions, unexplained footsteps, and other phenomena over the years.
