Bunker Hill Monument

Bunker Hill Monument is a 221-foot granite obelisk completed in 1843 that commemorates the June 17, 1775 Battle of Bunker Hill. It stands near Monument Square in Charlestown and is part of the Boston National Historical Park. Visitors can climb an interior stone staircase to an observation area with views over Charlestown and Boston.
