Skegness Town Hall

Skegness Town Hall, located on North Parade in Skegness, Lincolnshire, is a Grade II listed municipal building with a rich history. Originally built as a convalescent home in 1927, it was designed in the Neo-Georgian style by architect William Henry Ansell and opened by Princess Marie Louise. The building transitioned to municipal use in the 1960s and served as the headquarters for local councils until early 2023. Its striking architecture features red brick with ashlar stone dressings, a symmetrical facade, and elegant windows. Recently sold to a developer, plans are underway to convert it into a 57-bed hotel, making it an interesting site for both tourists and researchers.
